If you’re headed to the Outer Banks to celebrate Labor Day and bid farewell to Summer, it’s going to be a great weekend!
The surf reports indicate small swells, meaning conditions will be fairly safe to enter the water. However, always check with a lifeguard before entering, just to see if there’s anything to be concerned about. Red Wolf Howling Safaris
Learn more about red wolves and to experience a howling! Meet at the designated time at Creef Cut Wildlife Trailhead. Pre-registration is required.Flashlights and insect repellent are recommended. Cape Hatteras Lighthouse Open For Climbing
Located in Buxton, North Carolina on Hatteras Island.
Climbing fees $7 adult, $3.50 for children under 12 and Senior Citizens. Ticket sales begin at 8;15 am. Climbing begins at 9 am and runs every10 minutes limit 30 visitors per day. Sales close at 4:30 pm.
